Applications

In addition to PMC’s 56 active patents, PMC has over 40 applications that are still in prosecution with the USPTO. These applications complement PMC’s active patents and will expand PMC’s coverage within its core areas of technology. The applications were filed prior to June 7, 1995 and will have priority dates of either 1981 or 1987. At least some of the applications, once issued, will likely have a 17-year life from date of issue, thereby extending the life of the PMC portfolio past 2028. The applications are expected to begin issuing within the next 12 to 18 months.
