Mary C. "Kazie" Metzger

Kazie Metzger has led PMC’s licensing program since 1994. Prior to joining PMC, Ms. Metzger had a long career in the satellite and cable television industries. In 1986 Ms. Metzger co-founded and served as President and CEO of PrimeTime24, which broadcast satellite signals of ABC, CBS, and NBC network-affiliate television to C-band home satellite dish owners. In her earlier career, she worked as Vice President of Business Development and Market Analysis for Group W Cable, Inc., the then $2 billion cable television subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Corporation and the third-largest cable operator in the United States. In that position, she was responsible for Group W Cable's development of new services, including pay-per-view programming, stereo

audio services, high-speed data services, home security, and teletext. Ms. Metzger began her career in telecommunications at the start-

up of RCA American Communications, Inc., a subsidiary of the RCA Corporation. As Manager of Business Operations for that company, she was instrumental in the development of the first satellite delivery of programming to cable.

Ms. Metzger is also an Angel Investor through Golden Seeds, LLC, a network of Angel Investors who invest in early-stage companies led by women.

Ms. Metzger holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Duke University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
